25x'25 Meeting in Great Falls

Please join with other renewable energy leaders from around Montana and across the country for an update and discussion of renewable energy development, challenges and opportunites in Montana. The forum will be held from 3:00-6:00p.m. at the Charles M. Russell Museum in Great Falls on Tuesday, July 8th. Governor Schweitzer will keynote the forum, followed by an update from a renewable panel and an open discussion period. The 28-member 25x'25 National Steering Committee, meeting in the Great Falls for two days following the forum, wants to hear from and interact with folks on the ground in Montana who are leading, researching, designing and developing all kinds of renewable energy projects to help our country meet its goal of 25 percent of our energy coming from renewable sources by 2025. The Roundtable Forum at the Russell Museum will be followed at 6:00p.m. with a reception and barbeque. Please make plans to join us at this discussion and reception. The Energy Bill passed in December, and the Energy Title of the recently passed Farm Bill, offer opportunities and incentives for us to develop renewable energy. Let's maximize this opportunity for Montana, the country and the planet. To help us best prepare to accommodate you, please RSVP to Cascade County Commissioner Peggy Beltrone by Saturday July, 5th at pbeltrone@co.cascade.mt.us, or by calling 406-454-6814.
